Online participatory art project

Aurelia Mihai is part of the "The Crown Letter", an online participatory art project created during the first Covid lockdown founded by french artist Natacha Nisic.

"The Crown Letter" is a worldwilde open platform for the free expression of women artists, a cartography of the intimate over time and space, offering a meeting place for a community of subjectivities.
It has developed into a collective diary of reflection and confinement, charting global responses of women artists living with and through 'lock-down'. The Crown Letter releases a new issue of artworks each week on Tuesday, with back issues and artists' pages also accessible on the website. Works includes photographs, videos, audio works, drawings, poems and texts in several languages. The first issue of The Crown Letter was published Tuesday 21 April 2020.

The Crown Letter Project participated at the "Photo Days" in Paris in August 2021 and from Oct 15 to Nov 27, 2021 at the "Photo Days" at Fondation Fiminco, Romainville, France. It is part of Bienale Sur, Centro Cultural Córdoba, Argentina (2021) and Museo de Arte Precolombio e Indigena, Montevideo, Uruguay (2022).
The Crown Letter also was exhibited at the Institut Français in Kyoto as part of KG+ / photography festival satelleite event to Kyotografie 22, Kyoto, Japan (2022).
